Over the past year, I’ve had many conversations during consultations that made something very clear: there’s a gap in the design world when it comes to how people want and need support.

Not everyone needs or wants full-service design. But many homeowners still want professional guidance they can trust — especially when they’re feeling stuck or unsure how to move forward.

That insight pushed me to think more intentionally about how Seasons for Design can offer a more inclusive range of services. After months of refining, I’m excited to introduce a new offering for 2026: Day With a Designer.

What Is Day With a Designer?

Day With a Designer is a focused, high-impact design session created for clients who want clarity and direction without the scale or commitment of a full-service project.

This is a 6-hour intensive session, offered either in person or virtually, and centered around a clearly defined scope.

Here’s how it works:

• We begin with a 30-minute pre-session call to set the agenda and confirm realistic outcomes.

• On the design day, we start with one hour reviewing your goals, inspiration, and project needs.

• The remaining time is spent actively working through your space together.

• We conclude at the 6-hour mark with clear recommendations and actionable next steps you can implement at your own pace.

When This Service Works Best

Day With a Designer is perfect when you’re feeling stuck but want one focused day of professional guidance to get moving.

It’s especially helpful for:

• Layout planning and furniture floor plans (1–2 rooms max)

• Selecting finishes for renovations or new construction

• Shopping for accessories or refining the final layer

• Deciding between products or getting professional feedback

• Establishing general design direction

This service is ideal for clients who want:

• Expert insight without ongoing project management

• Clear, actionable notes they can implement on their own timeline

• A more economical, focused way to move forward with confidence

To ensure each client receives thoughtful, dedicated attention, I’ll be offering two Day With a Designer sessions per month.
