Kensington Refresh

A few thoughtful updates can completely refresh a home. In this project, the client already had a strong foundation, with many key pieces in place, but wanted to elevate her spaces and update items she no longer loved, like lighting. The powder room, once builder-basic, was transformed with molding, elegant floral wallpaper, and new fixtures, creating drama in a small space off the main hallway. In the kitchen, we replaced lackluster cabinet pulls with custom polished nickel hardware and added modern, refined lighting with textural elements to update the space. In the dining room, classic grasscloth wallpaper and custom linen drapery added depth, texture, and warmth. This project shows how strategic updates—lighting, wallpaper, and custom window treatments—can completely transform the atmosphere of a home.
