Northwest Custom Millwork
Washington, DC
With evolving needs, our lovely client wanted a home office that was as functional as it was beautiful. Seasons for Design was invited by Hendrick Interiors to collaborate on this project.
We designed a 13-foot-wide walnut built-in with slatted details, rounded shelves, and a concealed door for hidden storage. The unit provides ample shelving for a beloved book collection while thoughtfully incorporating the existing sleeper sofa, keeping the room flexible for guests. A custom desk and floating shelf connects the zones, creating a seamless flow between workspace and lounge.
The result is a space that makes working from home more productive, organized, and inviting—while still allowing room for flexibility and relaxation. This project reflects our ability to design custom millwork, prepare detailed construction drawings, and collaborate with expert trades to craft pieces that honor both form and function. It’s a reminder that thoughtful design doesn’t just transform a room—it transforms how you live in it.
